Greetings,

My name is Dr. Lucinda York. I am thrilled and honored to serve on the Palmetto State School Counselor Association Board of Directors. With nine years of experience as a school counselor, I am currently serving at Wade Hampton High School in Greenville, South Carolina. Before my current role, I worked as a school counselor in Prince William County and Richland School District Two.

I am an active member of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) and the Southern Association for College Admission Counseling (SACAC). My passion lies in advocating for the counseling profession and supporting my students as they overcome challenges. I have also contributed to various educational and counseling committees to further my dedication to the field.

Although not born in SC, I proudly call it home, having graduated from Benedict College, University of South Carolina - Columbia, and Liberty University.
