Terina R. Gardner
Greetings fellow School Counselors,
I am excited to join the PSSCA Executive Board as Elementary Vice President. For the past twenty years, I have had the opportunity to work as a school counselor at elementary, middle and alternative school levels as well as serve as director of school counseling at two Richland Two middle schools. I am currently the school counselor at Bethel-Hanberry Elementary School in Richland School District Two. Most recently, I was honored by being named PSSCA 2020 Elementary School Counselor of the Year award.
I recognize the importance of my individual role in shaping the future of the counseling profession. As Elementary VP, I will work hard to be a voice for elementary school counselors in South Carolina in order to ensure students across the state receive premier counseling services.
I am the mother of one son who is a rising college senior at NC A&T State University. I enjoy traveling, attending SC State University football games to watch the band and supporting alumni activities.
