Gretchen Crosswell

Hello! My name is Gretchen Crosswell and I am a School Counselor at Gilbert High School in Lexington School District 1.  I will be entering my 6th year there with previous work experiences including college admissions counseling, drug and alcohol abuse counseling as well as family counseling services. I am originally from and currently live in Lexington, South Carolina with my husband, 4 children and zoo of pets.

I have a BA in Psychology from Columbia College, Ed.S. in Marriage and Family Counseling from The University of South Carolina with an add-on degree certification in secondary School Counseling from Clemson University.  This is my 5th year in participating in the Palmetto State School Counseling Association. My first year, I served on the By-Laws Committee and then moved into a position on the board as Secretary. After that I became a member of the Awards Committee and have once again moved onto the board as the Awards Chair.  I am looking forward to working with the committee and discovering who this year’s School Counselor of the Year will be as well as Advocate of the Year.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to join the Awards Committee at (803) 821-1911 or .
