Hello! My name is Leigh Eubanks and I am proud to serve as your Past-President and Conference Chairperson of PSSCA. I am so excited to work with the members of PSSCA and support school counselors around the state as we grow and develop our profession! School counseling isn't just something that I do - it's something that I am passionate about. This passion allows me to advocate for school counselors and for students in South Carolina.
I have been in the field of education for 32 years with the last 22 years as a middle level school counselor. I have a degree from Winthrop University in Special Education and a minor in Music. I have both Masters and Educational Specialist degrees in Counselor Education from USC. I am also Global Career Development Facilitator.
I have served PSSCA as a member of the Awards Committee, the Awards Chairperson, the Middle Level VP, and President-Elect, and most recently, President. I have had the opportunity to present at PSSCA and ASCA conferences, as well as in my own district. I am currently the Director of School Counseling at Lexington Middle School. My school counseling program has also received RAMP and Re-RAMP.
My hobbies are gardening, scrapbooking, spending time at the lake or the beach with my family, and Clemson Football! I am married and have a daughter, two sons, and two dogs. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. firstname.lastname@example.org or (803) 821-3732.
