Hello,

My name is Heather Williams, and I am excited to be elected as a Board of Directors for PSSCA. I am ready to help advocate for school counselors and help make change across the state. I am a graduate of the University of South Carolina Columbia with my B.S. in Exercise Science and a graduate of Augusta State University with my Master’s in Counseling Education and Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership. This is my 15th year in education as a school counselor, and I currently work at Riverside High School in Greer, SC.

Counseling and advocating are my passions, but in order to help students we as counselors have to have knowledge and an advocate to help. I am here to be that personas a board member. I look forward to bringing my knowledge and experience to the group to help assist school counselors in South Carolina. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if anything is needed.
