The Communications Committee is responsible for promoting and publicizing the association to include promotional resources such as posters, flyers and brochures. The Communication Committee manages the association’s Facebook, Twitter, website and monthly newsletters. We also handle any event promotion for the association.
Some specific ways you can get involved are as follows:
1) Social Media Manager:
What: Post upcoming events to the PSSCA Facebook and Twitter account.
Time: 1x or 2x a month but will be more frequent as the annual conferences gets closer
How: I will send you the content to post by communicated time. Must have a personal Facebook and Twitter account
2) Graphic Designer:
What: Design graphics to advertise PSSCA events
Time: Previously there have been 6 opportunities to advertise events, mostly in the Fall. Our conference promotional items are already taken care of.
How: I will send you the information needed on the graphic and the size of the graphic needed.
3) Public Relations Representative:
What: Submitted PR releases to designated news outlets
Time: Right now, this is mostly in the Winter/Early Spring (announcing those who were honored at the Conference and the new RAMP schools in SC).
How: I am working on training for this one right now! I will give you details asap.
