The webinar will be conducted by Lindsay Harman, PhD, LPC, NCC. Clinical Assistant Professor, University of Denver; Certified School Counselor (SC); Licensed Professional Counselor (SC); National Certified Counselor.
The Palmetto State School Counselor Association (PSSCA) is offering one free one-year professional membership (a $35.00 value) as a raffle item for the webinar. All participants will be entered into the raffle and the winner notified via email.

November is National Career Development Month. For 57 years the National Career Development Association (NCDA) has sponsored the National Poetry and Art Contest. The NCDA Poetry and Art website is found here.
HOWEVER, in South Carolina, the South Carolina Career Development Association (SCCDA) sponsors our state program. All South Carolina submissions should be made to SCCDA either through the post office box address on the state brochure, or directly to Sherry Williams via email. Her email address is found on the state brochure. The state deadline for submissions to SCCDA is December 2. Once state winners are chosen, state winners will be sent to the national contest by the national deadline dates listed on their website and on the national brochure. All state winners will receive a certificate and gift card from SCCDA for first, second, and third place in each age group and category. Submissions that are sent directly to NCDA, and do not come through SCCDA, will not be eligible for state prizes or a certificate. The state brochure with deadlines and contact information is found here and the state brochure is attached. Every submission should indicate the age group and contest category (art 1, art 2, or poetry).
