Hello!

My name is Katie Vogel and I am a recent graduate from the University of South Carolina with an EdS degree in Counselor Education.  I am entering my first year as an elementary school counselor in the Lexington 1 School District of South Carolina.  I am extremely eager for the opportunity to pursue a career where I have the opportunity to support students in areas of academics, career exploration, and social/emotional development.  As a school counselor, my ultimate goal is to build mentally stronger and healthier individuals and communities.  I am very excited to be an Emerging Leader for the Palmetto State School Counselor’s Association where I hope to gain more knowledge and resources to then share with my school, district, and peers.
