I am the PSSCA Parliamentarian, a position that ensures our meetings are orderly and follow proper procedures. I have previously served PSSCA as the Treasurer and on multiple committees.
I believe in advocating for the school counseling profession, and my work on the board has given me the opportunity to do just that. I thank you for trusting me and our fellow board members with the association and for giving us the opportunity to give back to you and the other amazing school counselors in our state.
I am currently serving in my 12th year as a school counselor in South Carolina, and I am currently the Director of School Counseling at Pelion Middle School, a RAMP school. I have previously worked in three RAMP high schools in the Midlands and the Lowcountry. I am also a National Board Certified Counselor, Global Career Development Facilitator, and the 2020 PSSCA Middle School Counselor of the Year. Most importantly, I am proud to be a husband, a father (to three children and two dogs), a graduate of the University of Missouri, and a runner.
I look forward to continuing to work with and for you.
