I am the PSSCA President-Elect. I am honored to know that you trust me as a leader in our organization, and I hope I can live up to the expectations!
I believe in advocating for the school counseling profession, and my work on the board has given me the opportunity to do just that. I thank you for trusting me and our fellow board members with the association and for giving us the opportunity to give back to you and the other amazing school counselors in our state.
I am currently serving in my 13th year as a school counselor in South Carolina, and I am currently the Director of School Counseling at Pelion Middle School, a RAMP school. I have previously worked in three RAMP high schools in the Midlands and the Lowcountry, and my team and I are working to re-RAMP our current school. I am also a National Board Certified Counselor, Global Career Development Facilitator, and the 2020 PSSCA Middle School Counselor of the Year. Most importantly, I am a husband, a father (to three children and two dogs), a graduate of the University of Missouri, and a runner.
I look forward to continuing to work with and for you.
