Improving Mental Health Services in Schools: Part 2

This is an SCDE Workshop 

In response to high participation and positive feedback, the Office of Student Intervention Services will host Improving Mental Health Services in Schools, Part 2. During this panel discussion, especially designed for district and school administers, mental health clinicians, counselors, and other staff responsible for addressing the mental and behavioral health needs of students, panelists will share practical strategies for enhancing existing mental health services in schools.

Improving Mental Health Services in Schools, Part 2 will be held on Wednesday, May 4, from 3:00 p.m.–4:30 p.m., and feature the following panelists: 

  • Jennifer Coker, Executive Director of Alternative Programs and Services, Charleston County School District; 
  • Dr. Dandi Daniels, MTSS Coordinator, Colleton County School District;
  • and
  • Teresa Phillips, Project AWARE Coordinator, Anderson School District Two.
