Greetings School Counselors! Thank you for visiting our PSSCA website! I am honored to serve as your PSSCA Piedmont Regional Chair. I currently have the pleasure of serving as Director of School Counseling Services for the Greenville County School District in Greenville, SC. As part of my responsibilities, I coordinate our district's school counseling program, which includes over 250 dynamic school counselors serving over 76,000 incredible students. I love what I do and am thankful for the opportunity to serve.

My previous professional experience includes service as a classroom teacher, school counselor, school principal and district administrator. My formal education includes a Bachelor’s Degree from Wofford College and Master’s and Educational Specialist Degrees from the University of South Carolina. Currently, I am a PhD Candidate in Educational Leadership at Clemson University. I hold endorsements as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. I am certified in School Crisis Response through the National Center for Crisis Management and a trainer in Mental Health First Aid, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and PREPaRE School Crisis Prevention & Intervention Curriculum.

My wife, Rhonda, an elementary school principal, and I live in Greenville and have four wonderful children. I serve on several boards, including the Greenville County Behavioral Health Alliance, Mental Health America and NAMI Greenville. I enjoy spending time with my family, service and church activities, sports, reading, hiking, history and photography.
