Greetings PSSCA Members!

I am the S.C. Department of Education's School Counselor/Career Specialist Liaison. It is an honor to serve all of you as your voice for state-wide issues, training and initiatives. As a veteran teacher and school counselor, my goals are to promote high standards for our profession across South Carolina and to support counselors as they empower student success.  The Palmetto State School Counselor Association exists to promote excellence in school counseling in order to enhance services to all students. The PSSCA platform aligns with my personal passion: advocacy for effective and comprehensive school counseling programs and best practices.

I invite you to share any comments, questions, or concerns with me to ensure that we are doing what's best for kids. I wish you a productive school year, and I thank you for the tremendous work you do for students throughout South Carolina!
