My name is Sierra Barnes and it’s my distinct honor to serve as a member of the Board of Directors for the PSSCA. 

I have had many roles in school counseling since joining this profession in 2014. I started my career as a school counselor in Richland School District Two and later accepted a promotion as the Director of School Counseling in Fairfield County School District. I am also an Adjunct Professor at Liberty University in the Counselor Education & Family Studies Program.

As a board member, my goals are: 

To promote advocacy and systemic change for school counselors across South Carolina, and to assist PSSCA with implementing initiatives that will greatly improve student outcomes. I look forward to collaborating with you in the future!
